Black Nickel Plated Check Valves
Meet our NEW Black Nickel Plated Check Valves! The sleek new design pairs perfectly with VIAIR’s Stealth Black stainless-steel braided leader hose. These upgraded check valves are available individually or with the stainless-steel braided leader hose connected to a “C” model compressor. VIAIR “C” model compressors are intended to fill air tanks with the use of a pressure switch and relay. All “C” model VIAIR compressors (with exception to certain 90 & 100 series units) are equipped with a stainless-steel braided leader hose and check valve.
The check valve keeps the compressor from restarting under pressure, which can create an amp draw spike and cause motor damage. This also stops air from leaking out of your air tank and back into the compressor. Usually a check valve deteriorates from wear and tear over time or from over-tightening. This will lead to the tank losing all of its air thus creating back pressure inside the compressor the next time it turns on. To avoid this issue, we recommend using a thread sealant for proper installation. Thread tape is not recommended. Properly sealed, recommended torque for 1/8″ is 10 ~ 11 ft. lbs. and 1/4″ and 3/8″ is 12 ~ 15 ft. lbs.

Sealed IP66 Rated 40-amp Relay
Upgrade to our new Sealed IP66 Rated 40-amp Relay! This improved electrical component will give you peace of mind for your electrical system and protect your compressor. Relays help convert small electrical inputs into high-current outputs to efficiently operate your compressor. They are electrical switches using electromagnetism to convert small electrical stimuli into larger currents. These conversions occur when electrical inputs activate electromagnets to ether form or break existing circuits. The sealed properties of this relay prevent moisture and dirt from getting inside. It’s easy to install and can be mounted anywhere. Pair this relay with a VIAIR “C” model compressor to easily fill air tanks.
3/8″ DOT PTC Style Inflation Valve
VIAIR’s NEW DOT PTC Style Inflation Valve in 3/8” easily fills air bags, air tank or any other application requiring air. VIAIR’s DOT approved Push-to-Connect fittings are made from nickel-plated brass for durability and corrosion resistance, with a max working pressure of 200 PSI. They have a full flow design, providing 60% more flow area than conventional fittings with internal tube support. These fittings make installation of an airline a breeze! Simply push the airline securely into the fitting, lock it in and go. Break free from the constraints of requiring an air compressor to fill up your air tank. Manually inflate air bags for load leveling or air suspension by running air lines straight from a tank directly to the inflation valve. This component is a great backup option in case your compressor fails. If you do not have a compressor, but have an application that still requires air, this works too!
