The 2018 Off-Road Expo out of Pomona Fairgrounds is Southern California’s premier off-road event! This show features the top 4×4 brands, interactive event courses, demonstrations and opportunities to meet your favorite dirt celebrity. This year the show included a variety of vehicles including lifted trucks, jeeps, overland rigs and UTV sand rigs!
VIAIR Booth Features Synergy Manufacturing Jeep TJ
We exhibited at the show for the fourth time, and were excited to feature the Synergy Manufacturing Jeep TJ. The Jeep TJ is the second generation of the popular Jeep Wrangler, highlighting the circular headlights that classic Jeep models are known for. Synergy Manufacturing is based out of San Luis Obispo and has produced premium suspension products and high-end off-road automotive performance components since 2005. In addition, Synergy manufactures heavy duty steering components, axle upgrades, skid plates and other vehicle modifications to improve on and off-road performance.
VIAIR Booth Experience
If you came by our booth, you would have seen our extensive showcase of our off-road products. This included our New Gen. 2 onboard air systems (OBAs) which run our dual VIAIR 485C compressors . People love our second-generation OBA because the compressors feature 100% duty cycle at 200 PSI. They’re also designed to be quieter than any of our compressors, and have a sleek new head design, too.
Our onboard air systems can be used for multiple pneumatic applications including powering air tools, tire inflation and much more! These are perfect for off-road use.
We also featured our popular portable tire inflators used on road and off-road. These inflators range in sizes and fill tire sizes ranging from small compact passenger tires, and up to 42” off-road tires.
Our tire inflation station with the VIAIR 400P-Automatic Tire Inflator demonstrated just how to easily it can be to fill a 31“ tire using the VIAIR tire inflation gun! We even had a visitor request to use the tire inflation gun to air up their stroller tires since they were low on air.
Adventure Exhibitors
VIAIR compressors were displayed on many notable off-road exhibitors seen at the show this year, which included:
- Rebel Off-Road presented multiple custom rigs running VIAIR onboard air systems.
- Gear Alloy Wheels featured a lifted Chevy running Hornblasters train horn kit featuring a VIAIR compressor.
- Jeffrey Spriggs showcased his intimidating Jeep build “Reptilicon” at the Rock Slide Engineering booth running VIAIR’s 2-on-2 Bolt-On Platform.
Another Great Year at Off-Road Expo
This year’s show brought in thousands of attendees excited about the off-road community and lifestyle. At the event, Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series showcased trucks, UTV’s & modified karts around the track, launching off man-made dirt hills and making the crowd go wild! Live music around the performance marketplace kept the vibe upbeat while attendees viewed the line up of flexing rigs. People had a chance to take a ride along the Rubicon Trail to demo a jeep wheeling experience and practice off-road flexing with their favorite driver. Yokohama BMX & Skateboard demos were a new addition, making this show fun for the whole family!
The Off-Road Expo is one of our favorite local Southern California off-road shows that continues to display top quality rigs and break the mold for the 4×4 industry! We look forward to attending again in 2019!
