The “RV Mecca” for RVers from all around the world is in Quartzsite, Arizona. This sleepy little desert town wakes up once again as many as 750,000 to 1,000,000 people return for the 39th annual Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show . As local RV parks reach their limited capacity, many RVers search for parking anywhere available to attend the show. The show can be seen from miles away when approaching the town with its 70,000 sq. ft tent known by locals as the “Big Tent.” There is no charge for admission or parking to this RV event. With over 400 exhibits inside, and around, the fully carpeted structure offers many products and network connections within the RV industry.
Alongside the RV show nearby, La Posa Recreation area offers a camping area where 10,000-20,000 RV’s camp during the show, and Tyson Wells show grounds hosts the popular rock show and flea market. Also, another major campground holds an additional 80-acre dry campground that holds another 1,500-2,000 RVs.
