VIAIR exhibited for the 2nd time at the wildest show on the Mississippi coast – Scrapin The Coast 2019! Located along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Biloxi hosts this one-of-a-kind premier car, truck and motorcycle show which attracts vehicles and builders from all parts of the world. If you were at the show, you would’ve found our booth in the indoor section of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention center. VIAIR was proud to feature treasured top builds running our compressors. The outdoor show headlined live music, burn out competitions and rows of spotlight vehicles.
VIAIR Exhibits Gen. 2 Dual Packs
Customers appreciated our extensive display of compressors showcasing our New Gen. 2 Dual Packs to the east coast community. Since Scrapin The Coast displays exceptional air suspension vehicles, it was the best environment for VIAIR to show our enthusiast fans the range of products we offer. VIAIR’s expanded product line spanned four tables, featuring our quality compressors, fittings and products for air suspension and off road industries. Attendees raved about our tagline, “VIAIR is the heart of any air suspension system”. One of the ways we bring this message to life is through our light-up display, also used as an educational tool to explain how air suspension works:
- The compressor pairs as the heart, air bags as the lungs, the controller as the brain, and airlines are like veins through the body.
- If your heart fails, the rest of your body cannot function.
- That’s why it’s important to purchase a good quality heart in order to receive a good running system. It’s as simple as that.
Phat Phabz Bagged and Body Dropped
For our premiere booth vehicle this year, we featured a 2019 Black Chevy Silverado bagged and body dropped by Oklahoma-based Phat Phabz. This popular build brought in quite the crowd, with many attendees taking pictures next to this truck. Phat Phabz is known for their excellence in bags, body drops, & billets with builds, and their builds are featured at SEMA year after year. As a master dealer of VIAIR, they are an ample source for your New Gen. 2 dual packs or to stock up on any of your air suspension needs.
VIAIR Choice Awards
VIAIR selected 3 VIAIR-equipped rides to receive our Custom Choice Awards created thanks to Kre8tive House! These vehicles were noted as the best of the best vehicles running VIAIR compressors out of the 1,800 vehicles featured at this competitive show. These hand-made awards are truly one-of-a-kind and demonstrate the quality and individualism that sets them apart from the rest! Anthony Florence out of Pennsylvania is the lucky owner of the custom-built Rat Rod seen below. Welderup Garage machined this impressive piece of work as seen on the TV show Vegas Rat Rods running VIAIR compressors.
Shane and Natalie Lester known from the popular TV show Street Outlaws, own the eye-catching yellow VIAIR equipped 1937 Ford Wild Rod out of Gulfport, Mississippi
Anthony DeMichael from Mild 2 Wild Custom Accessories based out of Florida is the builder behind the lifted Ford running a VIAIR 485C Stealth Black Compressor to power a Hornblasters train horn kit.

Many of the car clubs and vendors at Scrapin The Coast were also impressed with all of the award-winning vehicles at the show.
The car clubs who featured at this year’s show included: Acrophobia, Severed Ties, No Regrets, Relaxed Atmosphere, Forbidden Fantasy, Unforgiven, Sadistic Kustomz, Twizted Intentions, LoD KustomZ, Subculture, Vertically Challenged and Low ‘n Motion to name a few.

Over 17 years in the Making
Greg Miller, Eric Kendrick, Ronny Tolar and Myles Holcomb have been the event organizers and hosts for the past 17 years! This show grew from humble beginnings: it started with 450 vehicles hosted at its original location at the Gulfport Sportsplex in Gulfport, Mississippi, and has since outgrown the facility to its current location at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
With an attendance of approximately 20,000 spectators and over 1,800 feature vehicles, another record this year signals the quality of the show in the custom car community!
